Medicaid is a government health insurance program that provides coverage for low-income individuals and families, regardless of age.

Medicare is a government health insurance program for individuals aged 65 and older.

The Marketplace is an online platform where you can shop for US health insurance and apply for financial assistance to reduce your coverage costs.

The Open Enrollment Period is a limited time each year, typically from November 1 to December 15 in most US states, when you can sign up for health insurance, change your current plan, or cancel your coverage. Some states may offer a longer enrollment period.

If you are currently enrolled in Medicaid, you will be asked to provide updated information, such as changes to your address, phone number, income, or other information, to redetermine your eligibility for the upcoming year.

There are no service fees and no obligation to enroll. All our insurance services are completely free.

The health and life insurance application process can take anywhere from 2 weeks to up to 45 days, depending on the type of coverage and other factors.

You will pay your premiums directly to the insurance company, not through the Marketplace or us. Once you pay your first premium, you will receive your insurance card. Contact your plan for payment details or give us a call if you need help.

To report changes, please email us your full name, date of birth, and the most recent pay stubs, or give us a call to update your information.

A period outside the annual Open Enrollment when you can enroll in health insurance. You may qualify for SEP if you experience certain life events like losing health coverage, moving to a new place, getting married, having a baby, or meeting specific income requirements.

Most US health insurance plans do not cover medical expenses outside of the U.S. If you need medical care while traveling abroad, you may have to get travel medical insurance.

To change your PCP, use your health plan’s online directory to find an in-network doctor, confirm they’re accepting new patients, then update your selection through your member portal or by calling Member Services.

Contact your health plan’s Member Services for a replacement. In the meantime, you can check your medical bills or policy documents for your member ID number. You can also contact your PCP’s office to see if they have your insurance information on file.

You can switch providers during the Open Enrollment Period or a Special Enrollment Period.
